PS Class CTs are used for Differential protection & 5P10
are used for other protection.

calss 5p10 used for normal protection, but PS class used
for special protection. 5p10 is used for non balance
circuits but PS class used for balance circuit.where ever
circulating current is balanced at that time only Ps class
using.This can be used only two CTs are present. Ex.
Differential protection & REF.
