Creepage is the shortest path between two conductive parts
(or between a conductive part and the bounding surface of
the equipment) measured along the surface of the
insulation.In disc insulator design,it saves material & at
the same time increases the distance between a conductive
part and the bounding surface of the equipment.

can transformer work on dc or not?if we increase the inductance of transformer can it happen to work on dc?
