How electrical power(MW)is varied OF an A.C Generator in
response to varying steam input to a steam turbine ?
Answer / hareesh
The stator of the generator (after synchronization with grid)
is having a rotating emf and the rotor is having its own
magnetic field. If we increase the steam input, the angle
between the stator emf & rotor magnetic field (called load
angle)will also increase due to the additional torque given to
the rotor by the turbine. In that case the power (MW) will
increase. similarly if we reduce the steam input, the load
angle will reduce and the MW will also reduce.

Why field resistance is greater than the armature resistance in dc mechine
1 Answers Cape Peninsula University of Technology,
as we see that in our country the power rating for transmission is always rated in multiple of 11 like 11kv,33kv,66kv132kv. So i want to know wht is reason or logic here.

When we give supply to a transformer 11 kv and we get 415v from it, so when we give supply to same transformer 415v on ht side what we get? and When we gives supply to any transformer to L.T. side 415v or 220v What supply is on H.T. side?
In a power system we know that if the generated power is less than the load then the frequency of the system is decreases. So does this mean that total required load is delivered at alower frequency?
