Answer / pradeep tk
as volume-----
for 1 m3 concrete, volume=1m3
propotion=1:2:4
ie, volume of cement=1*1/7
=0.142 m3
volume of sand=2*1/7
=.285 m3
volume of aggregate=4*1/7
=0.571 m3
for this slab we consider 1 m2 of .10m thick
volume of concrete in 1 m2 slab =1*1*.1
=.1 m3
for that volume,,,,,,cement=.142*.1
=.0142 m3
sand =.285*.1
=.0281 m3
aggregate=.571*.1
=.0571 m3

for 1 m3 concrete, volume=1m3
propotion=1:2:4
ie volume of cement = (1/sum or ratios)*1.52*30
6.5 Bags of Cement
volume of sand=
=0.43 m3
volume of aggregate=
=0.86 m3
for this slab we consider 1 m2 of .10m thick
volume of concrete in 1 m2 slab =1*1*.1
=.1 m3
for that volume,,,,,,cement=.142*.1
=.0142 m3
sand =.285*.1
=.0281 m3
aggregate=.571*.1
=.0571 m

Answer / parminder singh
we consider the 10 cm thick slab and 1 m squre area
volume of slab = .1 cu m
wet concrete volume is same as volume of slab
for .1 cum wet concrete = 1.5 time required dry
material
therefore total dry volume require = 1.5* .1 = .15
volume of cement =.15/7 = 0.0214 cu m
bags = .614
volume of sand = 0.0214*2 = .0428 cu m
volume of course aggregate = .0856 cu m
