What is the snap size in civil and how can we create it?..

Answer / Dheeraj Ranjan Sinha

Snap size in civil engineering refers to the size of a grid or spacing between two grid lines used for survey measurements. The snap size determines the level of detail and accuracy of the plan. To create a snap size, follow these steps: 1. Determine the appropriate scale for your project (e.g., 1:50, 1:100). 2. Convert the scale into a millimeter (mm) value. For instance, if you are working on a 1:50 scale, one unit in the drawing would represent 50 units on the ground. Thus, the snap size would be 50 mm. 3. Set the snap size in your CAD software or manually while making physical drawings.
