1)Dissolve exactly 0.53 g of the sodium Carbonate in 20ml of distilled water.
2)Dilute to 100ml . Transfer 10ml of this 0.1N sodium carbonate solution to a 125 ml Erlenmeyer flask.
3)Add few drops methyl orange indicator.
4)Titrate approximately 0.1 N HCl solution into sodium carbonate.
END POINT :- Yellow to Reddish Brown
5) Boil the solution gently for 1min.and them cool at RT by runningtap water over the out side of the flask. If colour changes back to.
orange, titrate more HCl untill the first faint but permanent reddish
brown colour appears in the solution.

Weigh accurately 0.5 g of tromethamine which is previously
dried at 105° C for 3 hours add 50 mL of water and add 2
drops of bromocresol green indicator and titrate against
0.1 N HCl to pale yellow end point.(As per USP)
