1.BO -- ROLAP Reporting Tool.
2. It does not support MOLAP cubes.
Cognos :
1. MOLAP Reporting Tool.
2. u can create CUBE based on Business Req
3. Develop reports both ROLAP and MOLAP

BO-Can connect to multiple data sources like BW,HANA,Bex Queries.
Dashboard can be created in BO using Design Studio and Xcelsius
Cognos- Cognos cannot connect to HANA and BEx.
