SoA is a multidimensional analysis technique through which you can set the analysis upto two leveldown etc. it is for quick analysis. before you define the SoA you need to setthe hierarchy.

Scope of analysis will desides the level of navigation which you can go for the analysis either it may be one level ,two level or custom level.
For example
Region==>Country (One level down)
Region==>Country==>City (Two levels down)
Region==>Country==>City==>State (three levels down)
like wise and so on N levels..
