what efficiency at 70% loaded transformer
Answer / naveenkumar
efficency=output/input*100
eg: your transfer full load current is 100A your consuming the 70A then
(70/100)*100=1/2*100=.7*100=70%.efficency.
life time of a transformer best 60% if u get 70% efficency t/f life time will reduce.if you going to 100 t/f is blusting

What is the significance of %Z in case of transformer?
how can we measure rotor current of a 3phase wound rotor induction motor connected to liquid resistance starter
Why we are designed only 11Kv and 6.6Kv Alternators, not 33Kv Alternators and Power Transmission side we are designed only 220kv, 120kv, 66kv, 33kv, 11kv, and 440volts, not 20kv, 50kv, 100kv.
How to select KW/HP rating of motor for particular application? Is there any relationship od RPM?
if field current decreases how can the speed increase in the unloaded dc series motor
In ht capacitor ckt we are using LBS Panel it having isolator with fuse, one of HT fuse flash over, so what is reason behind this event.
can we correct the p.f.of ac generator?
what is the diffrence between earth and neutral.
During the troubleshooting of an inoperative shunt generator, you found the voltage to be 2+ volts; what is known from this. Is it (1). odds are the armature is good (2). odds are there is no field current flowing in field windings (3). odds are the armature is bad (4). both 1 & 2 are correct (5). both 2 & 3 are correct
why we use the fuse in only one wire? althrough in ac current the current flows in both directions. why the neutral wire can be taken half the magnitude of phase wire while same current returns from neutral wire?
Which is the largest hydropower station in the world?
ii) A shunt motor supplied at 230V, runs at 900 rpm when the current is 30A. The resistance of the armature is 0.4 ohms. Calculate the resistance required in series with the armature to reduce the speed to 600 rpm, assuming that the armature current is then 20A. [12]
