when the motor was star position that is running ok but when
the motor was delta it was tripped? why?

basically this type of problem created when motor winding delta coil sequence not proper. For finding of fault following this processor :- Firstly check motor winding continuity 1:5{RR} ,2:6{YY} & 4:3{BB} .if continuity not matched then interchanged sequence of {RR} wire of power .if problem not solved then again interchanged second sequence of {YY} wire of cable .

By connecting the stator winding 1st in star and then in delta
,the line current drawn by motor at starting is reduced to 1/3 th as compared to starting current with the windings connected in delta.

in delta connection motor takes more current and in star
position motor takes less current so either change
connection or increase relay setting.

There are many reason whether resistance increased by terminal contact in motor or phase difference in roter and stator not matched during transition from star to delta , increase the pause timing in timer .
