Which ciass CT can be use in diff. protection. Can be use
5p20?
Answers were Sorted based on User's Feedback
Conventionally only PS class CT shall be used for unit
protections. But now a days, with the use of miro processor
based relays having facility of low impedance or biased
differential protection, 5P20 may be used as biasing in the
relay takes care of the unmatched characteristics of the
both side Cts.

yes 5P20 class CT can be used for differential
protection,In our industry they have been used for
transformer differential protection, transformer being 10 mva
and for bus differential protn. class PS has been used.

Please tell me some example circuits for different uses of capacitor( whenever and whereever and however we used capacitor as a filter, oscillator tuning etc..) 3. similarly for inductor and resistors(it act as what?) and when and how we want to act as like that?, and how we can used these components depends upon our requirments with example circuits and explanation? design to act as these components depends
