even though LPG is economical than petrol,why we are not
promoting LPG usage?

hai friends...LPG is of vital importance as far as
Household usage is considered.If we going to use LPG in
vehicles on wider rate and the Government begin to promotr
this...scarcity arises and the LPG pries will shoot up
abruptly...ultimately agitaions andthat will
affect "Politicians" and they will never promote LPG usage
in automobiles...I am not 100% sure but this is my
recollection from our Automobile engineering classes by our
dear sir Prof Dr.J.Nazar...

Actually it is very hazardous to use as it burn very
fast.Many accident cases are seen in this.
Also to store lpg we require high pressure so,we have to
increase the thickness of storing tank like cylinder at home.
so increasing overall twt.

that is because
leakage problem will arise
the installation cost is high for lpg
can't be used in 2 wheelers
efficiency would be decreased on account of weight of
cylinder holding gas.

further to ans:1,if we use LPG in place of petrol than
LPG Cylinder is not applicable for
2-Wheelers .
2. it is very complicated to lubricat a
2-Wheelers.
