In AC Till date [19 Feb 2010] 765kV is the highest operating
voltage. Line is designed for 800kV though.

1200kV in AC is still under construction and will be charged
at 1200kV onloy once the transformers are ready.

In DC ,its +/-500kV Bipole till date under opration but
within 2013 +/-800kV HVDC Bipole will be under operation.

i seen a 132kv/11kv transformer,and thier is a sugar factorys 10MW EXPORT PLANT,MY QUESTION IS THAT WHEN THEY EXPORT ELECTRICITY THEY USE THE SAME TRANSFORMER AND THE CONNECT IT TO 132/11KV TRANSFORMERS SECONDARY SIDE CAN ANY ONE EXPLAIN IT.. During the main stator winding insulation testing (phase to ground)of 11kv alternator (Lerysomer) i found 0 and resistance with multimeter and found 20 killo ohm while the power cables are connected both end (Generator & VCB). In VCB PT (Potential transformer) are connected. Please any body explain that method of insulation is correct or not? also describe of PT connections
