broken???

Answer / privin p v
according to KCL midpoint of a star connection is zero potential. If the load of the transformer is balanced nothing happen while neutral earthing broken. But in case of any unbalancing occurs there is no way to go the circulating current and heat occurs. It will damage the transformer

Netural is providing in the transformer for passing 3rd
assymentrical current , if the netural was not present ,
due to the surge voltage or un balanced voltage the
transformer life time will be decreased

Answer / thuranga
Normally any power or normal transformers is designed in
such a way that all the three phases will be 99.9% balanced(
winding wise).
so neutral in transformer is not at all needed, but for extra
protection neutral is put.
so if the neutral is not present, there may not be any much
change in its operation but vibration of the transformer
might increase.only that will be the change.
