Answer / krishna
Generator is the one which gives voltage as its output, by
having mechanical input.
For Eg: When the water falls on the panes fitted on the
shaft of motor the the force of the water results the shaft
to move and hence we have the current as its output.
( coil rotating in a magnetic field results in a current)

I am getting above 60 V as open delta voltage against single phase unit ICT at tertiary delta formed and ICT getting trippped on NDR. ICT tested and found in order. PTs provided on tertiary are tested and in order. what may be the reason?
In case of a synchronous generator carbon brushes, some brushes expire before the others. Why is so? When all the brushes are installed at the same time, why don't thee expire at the same time?
kindly tell me how the load on generator increase by just increasing the fuel of prime mover, as if for exampple 20 MW gen set is synchronized the load ramps from zero to 20 MW gradully and during this procress only fuel of prime mover increases. Which thing determines the load on generator with respect to fuel
What is the need of motor starter?
In Energy meter How many rotation Equal to one unit.
What is the meaning of GRID?
how to calculate load if i have three phase & single phase connection from power transformer( in term of kw & kva).can i take single phase load/3 for total kw calculation
our company have 750 kva oil transformer.still we have facing a problem that is when voltage is 11.5 kv coming from HT side then LT-side voltage is 420v or above at tape 1.please give me best solution to decrease the voltage.
In the solution of load flow eqation, Newton raphson method is superior to the gauss siedal method because (a)the time taken to perform one iteration in the NR method is less when compared to GS method (b)the number of iterations required in the NR method is more compared to that in the GS method (c)the number of iterations required is dependant on the size of the system in the NR method (d)convergence characteristics of the NR mehod are not affected by the selection of the slack bus
