WHAT TYPES OF OIL(STRUCTURE) ARE USED IN POWER TRANSFORMER INSULATION?
For what purpose an AVR in generator sensing generator output voltage?and how the sensing is done by AVR?
I have recently seen a transformer which had two primary terminals and was connected between two lines,i would like to know what kind of transformer is it?short discription about it,any advantages, purpose of usage of the same.............
1. The DC generaror,s induced output emf is connected with a DC motor(as load). when increasing the load of the motor by using brake drum or any way. what are the parameters will changes in both motor and generator(voltage, current, resistance, frequency, speed, torque, power, flux etc...) 2. Similarly for AC generator and AC motor 3. similarly if using DC batteries instead of DC generator, What happens?
what is rocking arrangement in arc heating
How do we measure earth fault current in Generator Transformer(20/420kv),Station Transformer(20/11 kv) and Unit Transformers(20/11kv) for our plant system, since these don't have any Neutral earth Fault relay connected to their Neutral Earth? But for Unit Service transformers(11/.433 Kv) we have an Earth Fault Relay connected to its neutral earth. Why is such so?

Essential condition for parallel operation of two single phase transformer is that they should have same A polarity B kVA rating C voltage ratio D % impedance
Why in metering Ct for ammeters ct secondary side is grounded for each Ct but not in case of CBCT (Core balance current transformer)..kindly some1 highlights the reason..is it because net flux is zero?
