Promotion: When an employee gets promoted to next position.
Here increase in pay is not an issue - the pay may or may
not be hiked.

i am doing my mba final year my specialization is hr and finance . my aim is to start a business . the interviewer asked me why u didnot opt for marketing if ur aim is to start business . my question is can't a hr person start a business if his specialization is not marketing
