what is teh difference between upgradation and promotion?
Answer Posted / shilpika jain
Up-gradation: When an employee is with same designation but
one's pay is increased.
Promotion: When an employee gets promoted to next position.
Here increase in pay is not an issue - the pay may or may
not be hiked.
