Answer / harish
the power factor can be presented practically
by drawing the phasor diagram...it is the angle between the
voltage and current....the positive direction is assumed i.e
either cc or acc.....

i am electrical engineer i cant get job in pure electrical industry ,but i got job in instrumentation field whether there is good scope for me, as i am fresher i m not well with the industrial trends so any experienced engineer pls reply me
How do I know if a transformer is saturated? I am doing the simulation of the saturation of a transformer, but what parameter tells me when a transformer is saturated? How do you calculate? is on the plate?, there is a rule that can help me? How could model? I understand the saturation occurs when the flow can no longer bind to the other winding, this is given to certain current, this current is the same that appears as the highest in the bale of features? In Indian Household, generally we receive 220V AC single phase supply. But AC has 2 phases, +ve & -ve. So in +ve half cycle current is flowing...so what happens in the -ve half cycle?? Please illustrate.
1.what is difference between line, neutral and earth 2.IF single phase voltage is 230v ac and what should be the voltage between line to neutral, neutral to earth and earth to line
Can any body tell me about partial discharge test, and why it is necessary and its procedure
Generation of voltage for each phase are same of a turbogenerator.Although the short circuit current flow when two phase of turbogenerator are shorted(where current can't flow without potential difference),why?
