why earth hole size is biggest in socket point...

Answer / hareesh k soman

earth hole is bigger coz it can easily pass the leakage
current. i.e as area increases resitance decreases, so

why earth hole size is biggest in socket point...

Answer / gajanan

in socket earth hole is used to earth abnormal current of
circuit or leakage current so this path must have minimun
resistance to reduce abnormal current to zero fastly

and resitivity= Rl/A as A: area increases, resitivity
deacrases and current goes to zero quickly

why earth hole size is biggest in socket point...

Answer / anuj kumar

In Electrical socket earth hole is bigger to provide an
easy conducting path for the flow of electrical current
because current will flow from high conductivity/ low
resistivity path.

if any human comes in contact with faulty machine current
will flow from socket not from human boday and thus protect
human from shock.
