Answer / sunil mehta
In transformer, if we give DC Power to transformer then
very small emf is induced in secondary side as very small
magnetic field generated through DC supply. But if we used
AC supply then we get enough voltage on secondary side
which is our desired quantity.

I am getting above 60 V as open delta voltage against single phase unit ICT at tertiary delta formed and ICT getting trippped on NDR. ICT tested and found in order. PTs provided on tertiary are tested and in order. what may be the reason?
why dc motor runs slowly when dc supply is given?
why in some cases the receiving end voltage is higher than the sending end voltage in transmission line (called 'Ferranti effect') ????? whts the reason behind tht???
In a generator (Synchronous) does the rotor speed (frequency) corresponds to the speed of the water (in hydro). does the torque on the turbine relate to the flow of water?
What is d main advantage of using double circuit 3 phase transmission ?
if we look on phasor of the transformer vaoltage is 180 oppsite at primary and the secondary so to improve a power factor is secondary should kept negative to improve it primary side means is -.90 became +.90 at other side
we use 400/5A ct and 35/roor3KV,/0.1/root3KV,0.1/root3KV pt ratio. What is the multiple factor of this meter.
