why we step down voltage level from 33kv to 11kv and 11kv
to 415v.Instead we can step down voltage from 33kv to 415v
directly using single transformer.

Normally substation is far away from city or villages. So
if we are transmit 415 v supply then the current rating and
copper loss and conductor thickness everything is high. If
we transmit 11Kv supply means the losses and current rating
and conductor size will be less. So we step down to 11 kv
first then step down at 415v.

Answer / devang
if we conside 33kv/11kv &11kv/450v the energy transfer is
same as by 33kv/450v so current level is same for both
