What is the use of lag compensator?
Answer / Rasid Khan
Lag Compensator is a type of feedback controller used in Control Engineering to improve the phase margin and stability of a system. It introduces a phase lag in the forward path of the control loop, thus delaying the response but reducing the gain at higher frequencies. This helps to compensate for the natural phase lag in some systems and improve overall performance.
