How we can calculate the consumption in kwh of motor on basis of kw @100% load, @50% load & @ ..

Answer / Rishab Kumar Singh

To calculate energy consumption (kWh) for a motor at different loads, you can use the following formula: Energy = Power * Time.nnFor motors, power is often given in kilowatts (kW). To find the power consumption at different loads, first determine the motor's power factor (PF), which is usually between 0.8 and 1.0 for induction motors. Then convert the load percentage to a fraction:nn- Load @ 100%: Load = 1n- Load @ 50%: Load = 0.5n- Load @ no load (assuming some power consumption): Load = 0 (but non-zero for actual calculations)nnMultiply the motor's kW rating by the load fraction and the power factor to find the power consumed at each load level:n
1. Power @ 100% = Motor kW * PF
2. Power @ 50% = Motor kW * PF * 0.5
3. Power @ no load (actual calculation): Find actual power consumption when motor is not under load, then divide by the power factor.
