Explain the mechanism behind the turbine meter...

Answer / Gunjan Kumar

A turbine meter works by measuring the rotational speed of a rotor, which is driven by the flowing fluid. The rotor has turbine blades that are designed to turn at a rate proportional to the volume flow rate of the fluid. As the fluid passes through the meter, it spins the turbine rotor, causing an electrical signal to be generated due to the rotation. This electrical signal can then be converted into a flow rate reading.
