How to do manual mapping in radar type level transmitter?..

Answer / benz

in doing a manual mapping for a radar transmitter specially endress + hauser, you have to empty out the chamber if you're using a stand pipe or bypass. then go to menu extended calibration. when extended calibration is selected the transmitter will guide you for mapping. kindly enter the full length of a probe but remember empty and full calibration were already been setted. you may refer also the configuration details to enter all the parameters to have a proper transmitter operation.

How to do manual mapping in radar type level transmitter?..

Answer / d chinna babu

Manual mapping will be done when radar gives wrong reading due to obstacles in reactor. For Eg if it is showing 15% level due to some obstacle the distance more than 15% should be entered in manual mapping to delete the error.
But mapping will not work for more than 20%
