temp/ pressure = (ma - 4)* span / 16


where, ma = what you measured by multimeter
span = max range of the transmitter.

Eg. you want to convert in DCS mean it for pressure
transmitter

field pressure Range : 0-100 Bar

Transmitter Calibration Range : 0-100 Bar so output 4-20
mA Depent on the Transmitter input pressure.

This output cable goto Analog input module, in DCS have
to set 0-100 Bar it work depent on 4-20 mA input.

the sensor in the transmitter sense the physical effect
(pressure/level/flow) in the transducer this effect is
converted to electrical effect where we can measure 4 -20
ma for example that on the transeducer and the sensor

a pressure transmitter with a range of 0 to 2500kpag has a specified accuracy of 0.5 % of span.It is to be calibrated using a comparison gauge to have an accuracy of 0.1% of span.The comparison gauge has a range of 0 to 3000kpag What is the accuracy ratio? is this ratio acceptable?
