What are the different types of controllers?

What are the different types of controllers?..

Answer / Abhishek Johri

There are various types of controllers used in control systems: 1) Proportional Controller (P controller): It adjusts output based on the error between setpoint and actual value. 2) Integral Controller (I controller): It integrates the error over time to eliminate steady-state error. 3) Derivative Controller (D controller): It calculates the derivative of the error to anticipate changes in the process. 4) Proportional-Integral (PI) Controller: It combines proportional and integral control. 5) Proportional-Integral-Derivative (PID) Controller: It integrates all three controllers for improved performance.
