The excessive leakage flux produced during shirt circuit and over load and developed mechanical stress for The coil.
On circular coil these force are radial and these is no tendency for The coil to change its shape.
But on rectangular coil The force are perpendicular to The conductor and tends to deform The coil in circular form.

Is it recommended to apply H.pot test for new cables segments after terminations or joints, however, this cable has been tested before at the manufactor by the vendor ? or only we can apply megger tests ?
Three phase star connected PT transformer primary side one phase fuse is blown what will be the output in secondary side(Secondary side also three phase star connected)
what is direct dischage of power transformer
Will it be OK to connect a 5MVA 33/6.6kV Ynd11 Transformer to a Star connected Motor. Or on other words connecting a Delta to a Star. I have another 30MVA 33/11 Dyn11 and would it be practical to convert it to Dd0 consequently converting the Voltage Ratio to 33/6.35kV Dd0.
show the single line diagram of star delta starter with single phase preventer
