AT L/3 OF THE SPAN THE SLAB CASTING SHOULD BE STOP.WHERE L IS THE LENGTH OF SPAN.

As per my view casting can be done to any extend,only care to be taken for joints,because setting time will be different at certain distance after casting.Every casting end should left angular,later jointing compound should be applied,at beams half beams should be filled in slant,cement slurry has to be applied ,Newer end casting of slab in center, it may end distance 1/3rd from beam.
