Dear Sir how much cable size required from 0.75 kw to 50 kw for electric motor or pump..

for 1sqmm approximately max 4amps of current can pass we having the cross section of wires are 1,1.5,4,6,10 the amps carying capacity is sqmm x 4amps ,for 0.75kw motor the voltage applied is 440v so as we have p=vi formula by this current=power/voltage i.e 0.75*1000 watts/440=1.7amps so we use 1sqmm for this motor,same formula upto 5okw
