open circuit test when performed on double the voltage &
double the freq, then what will happen with p.f and current
magnitude?
Answer / pankaj deshmukh
As mentioned open circuit test there would be zero current , and when frequency is doubled it also does not cause any change in current and P.F.
there may cause a little more eddy current in winding, This may cause any trouble in transformer though this test is being done for check winding insulation bearing capacity.
