Servo motors used to control speed systems. It varies the
field current applied to the generator which in turn
controls the speed of the motor connected.

Servomotor is ac/dc motor controlled using servo-mechanism. It is negative feed-back controlled (closed loop) using position sensor. It does not rotate continuously but mostly upto 180 degrees. Its speed is reduced (torque increased) by gear mechanism. It is used when precise positioning is needed. General purpose DC servomotors are controlled by PWM signal. Pulse is repeated for every 20ms.
Induction motors rotate continuously as open loop system. There is no feed-back control. The speed may be varied but position cannot be controlled precisely.

What is the role of Dedicated earthing in UPS System?
Will it be OK to connect a 5MVA 33/6.6kV Ynd11 Transformer to a Star connected Motor. Or on other words connecting a Delta to a Star. I have another 30MVA 33/11 Dyn11 and would it be practical to convert it to Dd0 consequently converting the Voltage Ratio to 33/6.35kV Dd0.
hi can you give any body fault level calculation, generator fault level calculation, transformer fault level calculation for system fault level with equation? i have 3.3kv generation voltage three gas gen sets, one is 1.9MW,2nd is 2.5MW,& 3rd is 3.8MW & i have 11 kv generation voltage one gas gen sets is 3.8MW, we are step up to 22kv by transformer
