hello everybody.
please tell me the function of transformer
bushing,s. i heared somewhere that it saved transformer
winding from sky electricity. please tell me if that is
right then how it work,s.
Thank,s.

the line with an insulation sorrounding the transformer.and
one lightening arrester also present in the bushing to
protect the tranformer winding.

Why all transmission lines are AC, not DC line?
It is a three inch fan and i want it to rotate to other direction .I've tried cutting the wire and reconnecting them inverse like black to white and white to black ,but it won't start rotating when i plug it in that way.And then it works again when i rejoin the wire to the way it is. I don't know what causing the problem. Is there anyone familiar with these small mortor?Any suggestion would be appreciated. Thanks!! http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/mm163/sasukebloodwheel/110527-105859.jpg

While connecting the flood light plug on to the 415 V distribution panel, there was spark and the cable got burnt. Three ignitors of the flood light also burnt of. The lamps are of 400 W (total 6 lamps) connected through 1.5 mm2 cable. The plug was immediately removed from the circuit. There was a 30 mA RCD connected and a 250 A MCCB; however both did not trip. What could be the possible reasons for the circuit devices not to trip? Can someone assist please. Additional info if needed can be provided.
