please tell me the function of transformer
bushing,s. i heared somewhere that it saved transformer
winding from sky electricity. please tell me if that is
right then how it work,s.

bushing is to separate the winding( line ) form the earth (transformer ground) hence to avoid the short circuit.according to the field analysis the bushing are made otherwise it leads to breakdown due to electrical stress applied
