what is difference between fork type and capacitance type level switch. where it is using..

Answer / Sonu Prakash

Fork type level switch and Capacitance type level switch are both types of current transformers used in electrical circuits, but they work differently:n
1. Fork Type Level Switch: This type of level switch consists of two vertical metal fingers that are placed across a conductor. The current flowing through the conductor creates a magnetic field which moves the contacts based on the current level, opening or closing a circuit.n
2. Capacitance Type Level Switch: This type of level switch uses capacitors to measure the voltage difference between two points in the circuit. As the liquid level changes, it affects the capacitance and thus the voltage difference, which can be used to trigger an alarm or open/close a circuit.nnFork type level switches are commonly used in oil production facilities, while capacitance type level switches find applications in tanks with conductive liquids.
