SOURCING means the device which delivers current to the load.
SINKING means the device which draws current from the load.

main application of sink and source is to control of direct current flow in load.
DIfference b/w sink and source is
SINK MODE provide a path to 0V DC (-DC)
SOURCE MODE provide a path to +24V DC (+DC)
