DG lube oil Specification is 15W/40
Difference between DG oil and Transformer oil is
DG oil is used for lubricating purpose because in DG Engine
lot of rotating parts are there,
Transormer oil Specification is 40KV and it is mineral oil
we are using oil in transformer for insulating and cooling
purpose

DG lube oil Specification is 15W/40,also it acts lubricants,
Transormer oil Specification is as per IS 335 and it is
mineral oil insulating and cooling&minimise the size of
transformer

DG oil specifications is API CF,CF4 and upto CI4 for the diesel generators and viscosity grades suchas SAE 15W40 ,20 w 40 20W50,40,50 etc..to suite the environment.

DG oil is Crankcase lubricating oil.
Transformer oil is Insulating oil.

15w/40 oil is very smooth that's way we can use in DG because in DG so many moving parts .and transformer oil work as a insulater between winding and tank.

some practicle study shows that the reactive power at the receiving end is not equal to the reactive power at the sending end.But according to theory the reactive power is exchanged by different parts of the network – capacitors and reactors permanently, but is never consumed or produced.
