if two phase voltages are equal that means 230v.then what will happen

Answer / satadal
Actually this is dependent on phase voltage and lamp rating voltage. In India the supply voltage is 440 V,50 Hz. for 3 phase.
and normally we will get 220 V at single phase with neutral
& 420V with Phase to Phase.
if our Bulb is rated for 240 V and we connected between two phase, the bulb get fuse due high volage.

If we connect a bulb between two opposite phases for
example (red,yellow)(red,blue)etc.then minimum conect 200
watt lamp because of potential is to high with comapare to
single phase.

hi every body i am master student in control engineering and my project is slip control in trains i assumed a Dc motore as traction motor but i don't have characteristics of this kind of motor that is used in train. i want from every body if he or she has the characteristics or information about Dc motor that is used in train give me those information or technical characteristics .
