Cascade control loop consists of two or more control loops, where the output of one control loop acts as the setpoint for another control loop. This arrangement allows better separation of time constants, enhancing overall system stability and performance. Cascade control is typically used when dealing with complex systems or processes where separating the loops helps to improve control accuracy.
