Go get good accuracy if any dust perticles get setteled of
the cnc there may be chance of un matched sized

it is because in the open there may be thermal expansion due to temp. variation which is in micron but more important & moreover with the dustproof atm. the lubrication in the machine does not mixed up with the dust & avoids the jam condition
