5.GAS-PRESSURED CABLES : are of 2 types :
a) EXTERNAL GAS-PRESSURED CABLES
b) INTERNAL GAS-PRESSURED CABLES
5.COMPRESSED GAS INSULATED CABLES(GIC): used from 132kv
upto 1200kv
6.CROSS LINKED POLYETHYLENE(XLPE)CABLES
