it is to reduse high starting current. it applied to high
cap motor like Above 10 hp. it means motor should run star
connection to reduse the starting current after she running
in delta in half of normal currunt.

i have total 8 dg sets for synchronizing and 2 buscoupler,1 sectoin dg no 1,2,3,and 2 sectoin dg no 4,5,6,and last section dg no 7,8 ....if buscupler no 1 and 2 is off mode ..than dg no 1,2,3,will synchroniz of another dg sets?

In Dyn11 power transformer if any one of the 3 phases connected to earth in star connected side then please explain effect of the current flow in delta connected side of transformer.(In this case if one phase is shorted to ground in star connected side then we observe the current flow in two phases only not three phases in delta connected primary side. Please explain why it is so?)
