how to calculate 1:2:4 ratio concrete cement, sand, metal and water please give me brief calculati..

Answer / adarsh

Cement =(1*1.54/(1+2+4))/0.0347
= 6.34 bag

Sand =2*(1*1.54/(1+2+4))
=0.44 Cum.

Aggregate=4*(1*1.54/(1+2+4))
=0.88 Cum.

Assume
W/C= 0.55

Water = 6.34*0.347*0.55*1000
=120.998 l.

how to calculate 1:2:4 ratio concrete cement, sand, metal and water please give me brief calculati..

Answer / aamir shahzad

ratio is 1:2:4 sum is equle 7
1 bag cement is equle to 1.25
total quantity resum is 200 cft
dry Volume of total quantity which is 200 cft to multiply
1.54 will be the value of total quantity is 308 cft.
which is the total quantity 308 multiply 1(which is cement
ratio)and divided 7 which is the sum of ratio it will
become 44 and now we convert cft to cement bag which is the
value of 1.25 for bag.

44 divided by 1.25 is 35.2 the Sum is 35.2 Cement of Bags.
same for sand. which value was came after dry
308 multiply ratio of sand which is 2 then divided sum of
the ratio which is 7 will become the value of Sand is=88 cft

for crash 308 multiply 4 which is the value of crush and
devided by sum of value which is 7 total sum will become
176 cft.

Total sum of quantity of 1:2:4 mean.
Cement=35.2 Bags
Sand= 88 cft
Crush= 176 cft

These are right answer.

how to calculate 1:2:4 ratio concrete cement, sand, metal and water please give me brief calculati..

Answer / s.rama pandia raj ( asst.manag

i will go with answer of Mr.Adishankar, but i feel a small
suggestion
cement-1
sand-2 with bulking 25% is 2.5
metal- 4
volume of 1m3 of wet concrete is equal 1.54 times of dry
mix

so cement required is 1.54/7=0.22m3 of cement equals 6.34
bags (0.22/0.0347)
sand required is 2.5/7=0.357*1.54=0.55m3 or 0.22*2.5=0.55m3
metal required is 0.22*4=0.88m3
1m3 of 1:2:4 nominal concrete mix contains
cement-6.34 bags
sand - 0.55 m3 with 25% bulking in normal practice
metal - 0.88m3

how to calculate 1:2:4 ratio concrete cement, sand, metal and water please give me brief calculati..

Answer / mavani hitesh

for mixing of 1:2:4 proportion
1 is stand for cement, 2 stand for sand and 4 stand for aggregate.
for volume batching.standard pharma is used.which is of 35 liter.
for 1 bag proportion.
cement= 1 bag
sand= 2*35
= 70 liter
aggregate= 4*35
= 140 liter
in cum
1 cum = 1000 liter
70+140=210 liter
reduce 25% of 210 for wet mixed.
which comes 158 liter
1000 liter/158 = 6.36 bag of cement

how to calculate 1:2:4 ratio concrete cement, sand, metal and water please give me brief calculati..

Answer / buhari adam nuhu kaakamu

NOTE:
1 CuM of concrete
Avg. final mix (Decnce) (AFM) = 1.52
Total proportion (TP) 1+2+4 = 7
Unit weight of cement =1440 KG/CuM

Solution.
Cement quantity required = AFM/TP
= 1.52/7
= 0.217 CuM
Cement is measure by weight
So therefore you multiply 0.217 by unit weight of cement
Cement quantity = 0.217 * 1440 = 312.48 KG.
Number of Cement bags = 312.48 / 50
= 6.2496 bags

Sand quantity = TP * 2
= 0.217 * 2
= 0.434 CuM

Stone quantity = TP * 4
= 0.217 * 4
= 0.868 CuM

Quantity of materials

Cement Bags = 6.2496 Bags

Sand = 0.434 CuM

Stone = 0.868 CuM

Answer / ganesh

M15=1:2:4
1140/2=720*0.45=324/50=6.5/bags
1cement bag=0.0347/cum
Cement=0.0347*6.5=0.225
Sand=0.0347*2=0.451
Aggregate=0.0347*4=0.902

how to calculate 1:2:4 ratio concrete cement, sand, metal and water please give me brief calculati..

Answer / pandian.a

cement = spgr/1+2+4=1.56/7=0.22cum sp gr of 20 mm=1.56c
0.22*1440=317 kg
317/50=6.5 bags wt of cement =1440kg/cum
sand=0.22*2=0.44cum
coarse
aggregate=.22*4=0.88cum

so cement=605 bags
sand=0.44 cum (15.52cft)
corse aggregate=0.88cum (31.04cft)
w/c ratio=12.5litre/bags

how to calculate 1:2:4 ratio concrete cement, sand, metal and water please give me brief calculati..

Answer / narsimulu r sanghi

The ratio is 1:2:4, so total ratio is 1+2+4=7
considering 1cum.
cement = (1 x 15.4)/7= 2.2 cum
= 2.2/.347=6.3bags
sand=2.2x2=4.4cum
metal=2.2x4=8.8cum
