They are the same.Whenever you want DC supply in one
direction only, blocking diode is used.e.g. in case of MG
set charging a battery set, if the MG set is stopped,the
blocking diode blocks the DC supply of battery entering the
MG set.

What does CDG,CDAG,CAG,VAJ,VAJH,VTT,VAZ,VAA etc. stands for in case of relays and can anyone answer to decode this codes C,V,D,G,A,X,TT,J,JH etc
