Answer / dheeraj soni
As per thumb rule motor working at 415 ac their current
rating is aprroximately 1.5 times of its HP Rating

Answer / arsenal
actually how is the thumb rule obtained......is there any
derivation.........
Is This Answer Correct ? | 0 Yes | 0 No |
As per the Thumb Rule,
Current = (Motor HP x 1.5)-10% of the total
Example: If we want to calculate the current of the 100Hp
motor then
current = (100 x 1.5)-10% = 150-15 = 135 Amp.
Is This Answer Correct ? | 0 Yes | 0 No |
Answer / m. madhu sudhanarao
