Shield wire is to eliminate the noise pickup in the signal
wire due to magnetic interference from the near by
sorces .This needs to be grounded at one end and grounded
with the instrument at the other end.

With Shield cable required for Analog and RTD signals.
Panel or JB side shield to be earthed but Instrument side
no need to do earth (cut the shield and taped).
