electric in genral refers to the flow of current i.e;the
movement of free electrons leads to the flow of electricity .
on the other hand a.c refers to alternating current like
sinusoidal current wave shape..alternating current means a
current whose magnitude contineously changing with time.
a.c or d.c both of these are the part of electricity.
