Bus duct is a group of busbars meged togother whereas bus
bar is a rigid peice of copper or aluminium that conducts
electrical power in effective way , and bus duct is used
for big power transfer.

Its the rigid conductor used inside the electrical panel for distribution of electrical supply inside electrical panel between incoming circuit breaker to outgoing circuit breaker.
Bus duct:
Its also a rigid conductor used to transfer electrical power from one electrical panel to another electrical panel. Busduct is used where there is a large amount of current transfer(approx 400A +)required.It shall used instead of cables.

Bus duct are the hollow conductors used to transfer electrical power and used for high current .These are hollow because flow of the high current exhibits small amount of current passing through the middle of conductor due to skin effect . As to save conductor material and cost these are made to be hollow .
