defination of controlled shunt reactor
Answer / Praveen Singh Yadav
A Controlled Shunt Reactor (CSR) is a type of reactor that is used to improve the power factor of an AC circuit by absorbing reactive power. It contains a variable inductor that allows the current and voltage to be adjusted, thus controlling the amount of reactive power absorbed or supplied by the reactor.
